An animation that supports environmental inventors

There are some amazing new inventions out there that could have a huge impact on the environment. But if you've invented a new technology, how can you give investors or customers the confidence that it does what it says on the tin? It's often a struggle to get a new product to market. Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) helps give new technologies a head start. The world-renowned National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is a leading certification body. NPL wanted Nice and Serious to create an animation to explain to inventors how ETV can help get their product to market.

ETV is a new verification standard, so we had to communicate a strong argument to inventors. We needed them to understand that ETV applies to a range of different environmental technologies. We also needed them to see how ETV can help give potential investors the confidence they need to back an invention. We created a 90 second animation, using a plain-talking script and an eye-catching style.

The ETV animation has been used by NPL across their website and social media channels as a communications tool to engage inventors.
