Figuring out your personal carbon footprint can be a tricky task. Most carbon calculators can give you a loose figure based on questions about your day-to-day habits. Until tech scale-up, CoGo, decided to use open banking data to calculate personal carbon footprints, and ‘nudge’ customers to do better.
Problem
CoGo is a tech scale-up that uses open banking data to calculate personal carbon footprints. They were at a critical point in their journey, having just secured their first deal with a global bank and starting a round of fundraising to scale the organisation globally. They needed to revitalise their brand identity to bring it in line with their ambitions for growth and impact.
Solution
Through research and workshops with the client, we realised that CoGo’s strength was its ability to bring clarity to the complex nature of carbon footprint tracking. From a visual perspective, we saw how CoGo was helping to give people a window into the world of environmental impact. We built this idea of the window into the whole visual identity, right the way through from the logo itself to the larger graphic language, giving them a refreshingly confident new brand.
