Balancing design & function for a new independent charity
FFCC
Website Update
The Food, Farming and Countryside Commission (FFCC) became an independent charity in April 2020. They bring together voices from all parts of the system – from farmers to activists, businesses to government, academics to practitioners, and many others – to find practical actions that can have a significant impact on our climate, nature, health and economy.
Problem
In the transition to becoming an independent organisation, there are many moving parts. The FFCC needed us to redesign and redevelop their website to make it intuitive, accessible, engaging and beautifully designed. It needed to clearly express their mission, values and their work, as well as acting as a convening platform and a resource for all audiences.
Solution
We developed a refreshed look and feel that brought consistency and brand recognition across all digital, social and print applications. We applied this new look and feel into a clean, contemporary and functional website. The graphic language focuses on natural landscapes, using contours and land masses to create diverse patterns and compositions, which framed the text and photography throughout.
