GOSH

Sight & Sound Centre Film

For children with visual or hearing impairments, the busy and vibrant entrance to Great Ormond Street Hospital can be an overwhelming and disorientating experience. GOSH required a film that showed the crucial need for a specialist centre while inspiring other partners and donors to help raise funds.

Problem

For children with visual or hearing impairments, the busy and vibrant entrance to Great Ormond Street Hospital can be an overwhelming and disorientating experience. It’s important that all children at GOSH are treated in an environment that suits their specialist needs. GOSH wanted to fundraise £25 million towards redeveloping a highly specialised Sight and Sound Hospital tailored to the needs of patients with hearing and sight impairment. With £10 million being pledged by a lead corporate partner, GOSH required a film that showed the crucial need for a specialist centre, while inspiring other partners and donors to help raise the remaining funds.

Solution

We created an inspirational and engaging video that captures the experience for children with hearing and sight impairment at GOSH’s existing facilities. By having GOSH patients share their current experiences of visiting the hospital, we were able to communicate to how certain environments we take for granted can cause more anxiety for children with hearing and sight impairment.
