Lloyds Bank Foundation is an independent grantmaker awarding grants to small and local charities that tackle complex social issues. They came to us to help them modernise their brand and communicating their work in a simple and compelling way.

Problem

Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales is an independent grantmaker. They award grants to small and local charities that tackle complex social issues. They were looking to modernise their brand and a new way of communicating their work that was simple and compelling.

Solution

The new brand highlighted the idea of being a partner to charities. The graphic language visualises the side by side nature of their partnerships. Taking inspiration from the slight angle on the L of the logo, we created a diagonal graphic that allows content to sit together equally. Photography championed people from the small charities that were making a difference in their communities.
